How do you hold your pants up?
The given rule is that trousers should be fitted correctly so they can comfortably sit on your waist without any aids. If it doesn’t, then swap it for a correctly sized option, you should take it in for alterations (at The Fitting Room on Edward of course) to have it adjusted.
You can also use any one of these following three accessories enhance your look, and accommodate for the minor waist changes throughout the day.
Belt
This option is the most common option for many pairs of pants in our wardrobes. The key to looking good here is to make sure you wear a quality leather belt and to always match it to the colour of your shoes. It is important to keep in mind that the belt should not be used to hold up your pants, as your pants should already be properly fitted. However, the belt can be used to firm up the waist of trousers by a fraction before a meal, and loosened after.
When tightened, the fabric of the trouser should not bunch up under the belt, as that means your trousers are too loose. The belt adds a corporate feel aspect to the outfit, hence it is not to be worn in black tie environments. If you are wearing a tuxedo, wear a cummerbund or braces/suspenders instead.

Braces
Braces (or suspenders) can be used in place of a belt, but never in addition to one. There are six buttons on the inside of the waistband of trousers for the braces to attach to for a secure hold. Clip on braces are an alternative if the pants do not have these buttons.
It is very useful for holding up trousers for men who with larger waists, or those without much of a waist at all. Braces can also be used to make a bold fashion statement (such as in the image to the right), and should be styled with care. Finally, try to match your braces with your shoes and/or shirt.

Tab Adjusters
Another feature used on custom made suits are tab adjusters (or side tabs/side adjusters). These tabs are made of the same fabric as the trousers and paired with the buckles on each side of the waist.
They can be used to loosen or tighten the trousers by up to 3CM. Tab adjusters have gained a lot of recent popularity as a very fashionable feature which can be added to the side of the waistband.
