When your clothes are well fitted, people notice (even if they can’t put their finger on what’s different). Often all it takes is a simple lift of the hem or nip in of the waist to make you look taller, slimmer and more professional.
No matter your body shape, your clothes can flatter you in the best way and reflect the confident image you want to present to the world.
To move through the day with confident composure, your clothes need to complement your life. So once we have discussed your style preferences, we get into the details of how you wear each garment. Are you getting in and out of a car all day to attend meetings? Sitting at a desk?
Then we do a final comfort check to make your style practical. That means even if you like your garments tightly fitted, you will still be able to reach for something on a high shelf or bend over to pick up a pen. This level of insight is how we make your clothes fit to perfection.

It gives you a feeling of confidence when you have a suit that is cut and fitted for you. It stands out and people notice.
I had been getting custom suits made in Hong Kong, but was never totally happy. I was looking for someone to help with getting that proper fit with my suits; to give me that proper customer service, slow down a bit and take things seriously. I looked at a few places and the first thing that got me was the professional service. And I enjoyed the attention to detail about a suit not being overly tight and just fitting and looking correct.
The team has gotten to know me and understand how I like my fitting. It makes it an easy process –it’s more of a catch up when I go in. I now know I can go to my wardrobe and grab anything and it will fit correctly – not just suits, but jeans, pants and chinos too.
Even though we specialise in bridal, suits and corporate wear, we have altered hundreds of different styles of garments, stage costumes and accessories. If it fits under a sewing machine, we can most likely alter it! Contact us to discuss your particular garment.
Yes, you do need to come in for the initial fitting. This ensures we have a clear understanding of what you want. Once we have agreed on the required alterations, we will alter your garments and someone else can pick it up for you.
If you work in Brisbane CBD and can’t get away from your desk, we can even arrange to have the garment delivered to your office once the alterations are complete (a small charge may apply).
Everyone likes their clothes to fit differently, so it is really important that you clearly communicate what you want. In your first fitting, the fitting stylist will pinch the garment to give you an idea of how it will look and ask for your feedback. Please tell us what’s on your mind at this stage and ask questions, so we can keep finessing. This is the best way to ensure you are happy with the final outcome.
In the case of complex alterations (such as wedding dress alterations and full suit restyles), we usually require 2 sessions to get it fitting perfectly. This gives you an opportunity to provide feedback on how the alterations are progressing.
Once you get your clothes home, you have 30 days to let us know if you are not happy. Simply contact us and we will do everything we can to help.
The timeframe depends on what you need done. These are the general timeframes we work towards:
- Basic alterations (hems, waist, sleeves, touch-ups): Within 3-7 days
- Restyle and refit (bridal and suits): 2–4 weeks

Yes, we can do simple alterations such as hems and basic mending while you wait. On more than one occasion, we’ve had clients wait in the change room while we repaired their ripped pants (and restored their dignity).
If you have larger alterations that need to be done quickly, we can also help too. Just contact us before you come in and we will work out a plan for you.
During our peak seasons (February to November), appointments are essential. You can booking an appointment to ensure the right team member is available to help you.
